I’m Angelina, a dedicated family and wedding photographer based on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, near the timeless charm of Lunenburg.
With my clients, we chase the extraordinary: climbing rugged cliffs for blazing sunsets, dodging (or diving into) crashing waves, fully present for the moments that take our breath away.
Patience defines my work. Kids get to be unfiltered, running, shouting, spinning wildly. I wait for the quiet truths to emerge, or capture the joyful chaos exactly as it unfolds.
True magic hides in those raw, fleeting instants.

My name isn't actually Jane, I know that's confusing. Average Jane is my pen name, the artist within me. I'm a big Jane Austen fan, and certainly her life's great achievements were anything but average, yet there is something humbling about the word that makes me appreciate it so.
The word average, doesn't have the most flattering definition in the dictionary, but we don't give it enough credit. Not every moment of our lives feels extraordinary, but from the right angle, it is perfect and beautiful, the way it should be seen. The quiet moment, of the in between the others. So often overlooked, is in fact an extraordinary one, especially in hindsight.
